Before going downloading the graphics libraries for dev C++. We must know what the graphics libraries are? A graphic library is a program library used to display the code written in a programming language in a visual form such as shapes, animations, etc. This liberates the software engineer from the task of coding the same code again and again.
It allows the software engineer to optimize the functions available in the library and build a stunning graphic application program. Graphic libraries are fundamentally used in PC games and multiple simulator applications.
Dev-C++ is a free open source (IDE) dispersed under the GNU General Public License for programming in C and C++. It was developed by Colin Laplace in 1998 and written in Delphi. Dev C++ is used to write computer programs especially console programs in the C/C++ language.

How to add Graphics libraries in the Dev C++ project
There are certain mandatory steps that you should follow to add the graphics library in the dev C++ or C++ project. These steps are as follow
Step 1 for adding graphics libraries in Dev C++.
Install the 64-bit version of the Dev C++ compiler.
Open your Dev C++ compiler.
Make sure that the 32-bit release mode should be selected. Its tab will be on the right side of the compiler’s home page.
Create a new project.
Go-to -> file then new then project and then select empty project then name it whatever you want.
Save the project in any folder you want. Then
go-to projects tab then project option then Parameters tab
then in the Parameters tab, there will be a linkers section add the undermentioned linkers to it.
then click ok. Now we have to add graphics libraries to our project.
Final Step for adding graphics library in Dev C++.
After Extract the zipped folder which you will download from below, you will find two files (graphics.h & winbgim.h) place both files in the include folder of Dev C++ at the following path, I have installed Dev C++ at drive C:
C:Program Files (x86)\Dev-Cpp\MinGW64\include
Put the third file “libbgi.a” file in the lib folder of Dev CPP. At following path As I have installed Dev CPP at drive E:
C:Program Files (x86)\Dev-Cpp\MinGW64\lib
Secondly also place both header files (graphics.h & winbgim.h) in the include folder at the following path. I have installed Dev C++ at drive C:
C:Program Files (x86)\Dev-Cpp\MinGW64\x86_64-w64-mingw32\include
Put the third file “libbgi.a” file in the lib folder of Dev CPP. At following path As I have installed Dev C++ at drive C:
C:Program Files (x86)\Dev-Cpp\MinGW64\x86_64-w64-mingw32\lib
After all of these steps, you are good to go. Now you can write your program in your source file and you will be able to use the graphics header file in your program.
